Class: Cooking and Learning about Wine, Food and Entertaining
When: Class Time Begins at 6:30 p.m.
Where: The Sage Gourmet Kitchen in the Wine Cellar

Join Laurie Bakke and Chrissy Filka has we prepare for a very interesting class centered around wine. This class will take you through cooking with wine, learning how to pair wine with wonderful recipes and tips on how to taste and smell wine.  The cost is $50.00 per person.

Join Laurie Bakke and Chrissy Filka has we embark Moroccan, Indian and Thai foods which will be full of intriguing spices and techniques.  We will have four or five recipes that will include salads, soups and more.

Each class concludes with a meal around the table, enjoying what we have cooked using your newly acquired skills…. And, yes, wine is served!

Class:  Cheese-Making Class
When:  Class time begins at 6:30 p.m.

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND – Cheese Making Class at Sage Gourmet

Believe it or not, homemade cheese is absolutely doable in your own home kitchen. This Make and Take class will show you how to transform curds into cheese, guiding you through the simple steps of stretching those curds into creamy, fresh mozzarella. You’ll also use the remaining whey and “re-cook” it (a.k.a. ricotta) to transform it into homemade ricotta cheese. Not only will you have cheese to take home, but you’ll also use the cheese in several dishes that will be made in class.  We are adding a new cheese as a surprise…. So now you must come!!!

Each class concludes with a meal around the table, enjoying what we have cooked using your newly acquired skills…. And, yes, wine is served!

Description:  Ah, summer: the season of abundance. What better way to enjoy the warm days than with dishes inspired by local produce? The Farmer’s Market is the best place to find the freshest produce and often at prices rivaling your local grocery store.

We will have eye-catching recipes we have developed that are sure to please your palate.  We will use and demonstrate our favorite gadgets from the store with each recipe.  These gadgets are all designed to make your kitchen chores and time much easier and more efficient.
